Nissan Driver Door Not Locking

Nissan note 2007 drivers door locking mechanism noise when locking or unlocking very simple fix this is my first video and unfortunately i didn t record.

You have a broken wire. Then get out the vehicle and enter thru the front door. The solenoid is bad. Replacing it may require removing the car door panel.

15 people found this helpful. Both drivers door and front passenger door locks not working. I always have to push down the lock to lock the door. To lock the car all doors operate with key fob or manually pressing the lock button on the driver side panel but the driver door does not respond.

If the lock isn t getting power hold the lock switch either up or down and then open and close the door repeatedly to see if the lock will work. If not there is the actuator that does not allow the central locking and i think is a matter of locksmith my solution so far is i disconnected the light from driver side door removed the plug and before i leave the car close by central locking the car and then manually the driver door looking for more permanent solution thanks. I have to manually use the key to unlock the driver door. Nissan had or has recall on the 2008 rouge for the same problem.

Fixing nissan patrol door lock. Nissan can said what ever they want but my 2017 nissan rogue with only 30 000 miles the driver side door lock is not working all the other doors are okay. Again if one door doesn t work but others do the problem could be with the door lock solenoid.
